Total Grammage= weight of sample in gram x 100 (if the sample cut in 10 x 10 cm )
Dip the sample in the containing beaker in acetone completely and dip the sample in the solution for 10 – 15 min. The PE layer is separated from the PET and Aluminium layers. Take the PE layer dry in a hot air oven for 1 min at 750 C. Take weight at analytical balance and record reading,
Grammage of PE Layer = weight of sample in gram x 100 (if the sample cut in 10 x 10 cm )
After separating the layer from the PE layer remaining sample was dipped in 25% glacial acetic acid for 5 min. if the sample is not split, boil for 10 to 15 minutes after separating both layers. The PET and Aluminium layer dry the sample for 2 minutes in a hot air oven at 750c. After taking weight at analytical balance and recording the reading.

Grammage of PET Layer= weight of sample in gram x 100 (if the sample cut in 10 x 10 cm )
