A selected sample of HSL/Alum/Paper foil cut the sample 10 x 10 cm or 5 x 5 cm with the help of a GSM plate, and take the weight analytical balance.
Total Grammage= weight in gram x 100 or 400 (if the sample cut 10 x 10 cm or 5 x 5 cm)
Take a sample of the total Grammage dip in ethyl acetate. After 10 to 15 minutes HSL layer dissolves. The remaining sample dried at room temperature, and then the analytical balance
Remaining sample GSM = weight in gram x 100 or 400 (if the sample cut 10 x 10 cm or 5 x 5 cm)
HSL-coating Grammage= total Grammage – Reaming sample GSM
Take a remaining sample and dip it in hot water for 30 minutes, using a clean cloth remove the paper, and dry the aluminium layer at room temperature
Take weight at analytical balance
Grammage of aluminium layer = weight in gram x 100 or 400 (if the sample cut 10 x 10 cm or 5 x 5 cm)
Paper of Grammage = Remaining sample GSM – Grammage of the aluminium layer
