- Shippers are made from craft paper. They are mainly made from 3ply, 5-ply, and 7-ply paper,
- Take the sample of the shipper cut 10 x 10 cm with the help of GSM plate
- Take Luke’s warm water in a beaker and completely dip the sample in it for about 10 to 15 minutes or till the layer is separated.
- After that all layers are taken sample at an aluminium foil and carefully separated layer.
- Dry the sample in a hot air oven for 12- 15 minutes till the sample dries.
- Taken flute sample cut the sample 10 x 10 cm by the GSM plate with the help cutter.
- Taken weight of all ply one by one and calculated the GSM
- Grammage of ply = weight of sample in gram x 100 (if the sample is cut 10 x 10 cm)
