This test is performed with the help of a collapsibility tester instrument.
- Place the empty aluminium tube on the groove on the top of the auxiliary base plate,
- on the base of the apparatus with the open end touching the stopper,
- when releasing the shutter and allowing it to fall upon the empty aluminium tube,
- Read the reading on the measuring scale the position of the top of the shutter.
- Acceptable Quality Levels: When the empty aluminium tube is testing this manner, the minimum and maximum limit for collapsibility reading we can use concerning the Tube diameter, is below the parameter table.
